Top Tier is bringing three of Santa Clara University's women's soccer players to Latimer School Soccer Field for a three-hour tactical development camp built to help competitive players understand the game at a deeper level.
Santa Clara's women's program is one of the most decorated in college soccer history, and these three athletes bring WCC All-Conference recognition, Youth National Team experience, and a deep connection to the Broncos' culture. Ava Weiland, a 2024 WCC All-Freshman defender, leads the defensive session. Malia Yamamoto, a senior defender and 2023 WCC All-Freshman, leads playing out of the back. Amaris Franco, a goalkeeper with US Youth National Team camp experience, runs a dedicated goalkeeping block.
Through game-like scenarios, guided discussions, and tactical exercises, players sharpen their decision-making, positioning, communication, and responsibilities on both sides of the ball. Built for competitive players in grades 3 through 8.
